About Lewis
Lewis Carrier is a Wiltshire based International Grand Prix Dressage rider and coach, who currently trains with Carl Hester. He was on the U25 Grand Prix European Team in 2019-2022 and the Young Rider European Team in 2018. Lewis is currently on the British Equestrian World Class Pathway and 2024 Olympic Ambition Program. Having stepped up to Senior Grand Prix level last year, Lewis has had great success, including many top five placings. Aboard Diego, he finished 3rd at Windsor CDI4* in May 2023 with 77%, placed behind two olympic team riders. With this success, Lewis was selected for his first Senior Team Nations Cup, where he scored 71%+ and placed best of the Brits, whilst the team also placed 4th. Finishing 2023, Lewis headed to London International World Cup where he achieved two top 10 placings and 77%+ in the freestyle.

Lewis has previously worked as a rider at Eilberg Dressage and was based there for nearly five years. Lewis also worked and rode at Elite Dressage with Anna Ross and has in the past year set up his own training livery yard at his home base in Malmesbury, Wiltshire. Lewis has produced his Grand Prix horse Diego from a four-year-old and specialises in producing horses up the levels including the training of young horses. Lewis is an enthusiastic horseman and is keen to further riders and their horse’s potential.
